Tempe Events.
Where Energy
Runs Hot.
Tempe is often grouped with Phoenix in event planning conversations, but it has a distinct identity. It's a college city, yes — but also home to a thriving young professional scene, a lakefront corridor that rivals any in the Southwest, and a startup and tech ecosystem that regularly produces polished, well-funded events that demand serious production.
Corporate events along the ASU Research Park corridor, nonprofit galas at Tempe's historic venues, bachelorette parties on Mill Avenue, and lakefront private events along Tempe Town Lake all require a DJ who can read the crowd and deliver. Drew's broadcast storytelling background means he builds events with a narrative arc — not just a playlist.
Tempe crowds are music-literate. They know when a mix is lazy, when a transition is sloppy, and when a DJ is phoning it in. Drew performs on Pioneer CDJ-3000s, building every set live — no pre-recorded tracks, no AutoSync. If the room shifts, the music shifts. That's the level Tempe deserves.
As an ASU Cronkite School graduate himself, Drew understands this community from the inside — the culture, the expectations, and what it takes to earn a room that's skeptical by default and loyal once you deliver.
Tempe events range from intimate lakefront gatherings to large corporate productions. The common thread: a crowd that knows good from great and responds when a DJ is genuinely locked in.
